Safe Kids North Central Florida educates on preventable injuries. Our goal is to reduce injuries and fatalities in children, ages 14 years and under. Accidental injury is the number one killer of America's children, taking more lives than disease, violence and suicide. In keeping with the Safe Kids Worldwide mission, the Safe Kids North Central Florida coalition's mission is to promote changes in attitudes, behaviors, laws and the environment to prevent accidental injury to children. Safe Kids North Central Florida focuses on many different types of injury. Some areas include: child passenger safety, ATV's (all terrain vehicles or 4-wheeler's), bike safety, pedestrian safety, water safety, fire and burn safety, and poison safety.

Safe Kids North Central Florida provides education in schools and community outreach through events to educate children and adults on preventable injuries. Safe Kids North Central Florida has nationally certified CPS (child passenger safety) technicians and instructors to host car seat events and installations.
