Our newest safety campaign is for ATV safety. Based on the recommendations of coalition members and board members, Safe Kids is targeting ATV safety with a poster/placemat. This print piece has been widely distributed to retail outlets, schools and restaurants to hang up or to use as a tray liner. The poster features many fun activities that don’t involve riding on an all terrain vehicle and some safety tips for those who do ride. Also, the poster offers a link to the web site for more information about ATV safety and a chance to win a mountain bike. This will help us to track the penetration and success of the campaign. To support distribution, a TV PSA has been created. Also, Safe Kids has submitted a letter to the editor and sent an issue of Kids Beat that focuses on ATV Safety.
