Safe Kids continued to expand the Safe Kids Club. The club has grown to more than
1028 members an increase of 66 percent from last year. This year, four special mailings
have gone to Safe Kids members inviting them to events. Three issues of the online
newsletter have been distributed. A special event for Kids Club members was held
in September at Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream. Members received invitations to the event,
which featured safety games, free bike helmets, balloon animals from the Fire Safety
Clowns. This club remains a unique way for Safe Kids to reach out and spread our
message directly to our youngest target audience and their parents.
