Safe Kids North Central Florida is made up of 56 individuals from key healthcare, law enforcement, educational, child advocate and fire rescue organizations throughout its eight county region. In addition, Safe Kids partners with the Trauma Team to provide the cornerstone for the prevention education required by the state for the Trauma One designation and Safe Kids continues to work closely with this team to provide documentation of its programs. Morya Willis, PhD., and Mindy Underberger make up the Safe Kids staff. In addition, an advisory board guides the organization’s activities.
